Prairieville Middle School Major Renovations & Additions
The Prairieville Middle School project represents a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the existing campus, thoughtfully designed to support continued growth while preserving key existing facilities. The original gymnasium, band building, and two classroom buildings were maintained and integrated into the overall master plan.
A new two-story academic building anchors the campus, featuring 34 classrooms, a centralized administrative suite, and a modern library/media center designed to enhance both learning and collaboration.
To support student life and large gatherings, a new cafetorium and kitchen were added, accommodating 600 students in a dining configuration and up to 900 with auditorium-style seating. Adjacent to the existing gymnasium, a new 800-seat gymnasium was constructed, complete with expanded restroom and locker facilities, as well as a dedicated concession area.
The completed project delivers a cohesive, high-functioning campus that balances new construction with existing structures, creating an environment that supports both academic excellence and student engagement.
