First Guaranty Bank Center
The First Guaranty Bank Center in Downtown Hammond is a dynamic three-story facility designed to support innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. The building brings together key operational components, including a call center, training department, IT division, media center, and auditorium, within a cohesive, modern workplace environment.
Flexible, collaborative spaces are integrated throughout each level, encouraging connection across departments. At the heart of the building, a large open lobby is paired with an adjacent auditorium, separated by an operable wall that can be opened to create an expansive venue for public events and gatherings.
Training areas are designed for adaptability, featuring movable partitions that allow spaces to function as either a single large environment or smaller, focused learning areas. Each floor also includes a mix of private offices, conference rooms, lounges, and support spaces to enhance both productivity and comfort.
Architecturally, the facility blends traditional and modern elements, combining brick façades with hurricane-rated curtain wall systems featuring low-E glass, spandrel glass, and aluminum paneling, delivering both durability and visual impact. The site design incorporates native landscaping, new parking and drive areas, and an outdoor courtyard, creating a welcoming and functional environment both inside and out.
The completed project reflects a forward-thinking approach to workplace design, supporting both the bank’s operational needs and its connection to the surrounding community.
