Listening Designing Delivering

Livingston Parish Medical Complex

This building was designed to capture the progressive character of North Oaks Healthcare Systems. The steel framed two story building is clad with materials that have become a standard palatte for North Oaks. The structure was designed to be viewed from all angles and to capture one’s eye from the adjacent Interstate.

The building consists of 48,465 square feet of enclosed energy efficient space. Upon arrival, the eye is drawn to the main entrance and has separate entrances to the 24-hour urgent care space and rehabilitation department. The ground floor consists of six major components which are: 24-hour urgent care clinic, community meeting space, admission/administration, lab, rehabilitation and diagnostic services. The diagnostic services includes state of the art equipment for x-ray, mammography, stress lab, nuclear medicine, C.T., and M.R.I testing. The second floor overlooks a large open two story atrium and includes a family medicine and specialty clinic. The construction cost for this facility was $12,155,619.00, and the total investment for the project is $35,000,000.00.
